I'm guessing this is as good a forum as any to ask this question. I generally try to avoid eating sugar and I bought Disney Goofy gummy candy when I was at WDW a couple weeks ago. It tastes great, like "real" candy. But I've come to the conclusion that there's something in it that doesn't sit well with my digestive system, most likely the artificial sweetener that is used.

Do any of you know what the sweetener is that is used in the Goofy sugar free candy? If any of you are at Disney or are going soon, could you look for me? I'd greatly appreciate it. (I tossed the bag without thinking to look at the ingredients list.)

i would guess it's malitol -- a sugar substitute used in a lot of sugar-free candy and ice cream. it's yummy but i know exactly what you mean

Malitol? I don't know that I've ever heard of it. That could be it though.

Anyone have a bag that they could check for me?
