We just found out that my DD14 has "Rebound Hypoglycemia". Needless to say we are staying away from sugar as much as possible. I know that when we dine out I can make note with the chef, and she is big enough we can deal with buffets pretty well, but were going to be at Disney and everyone spluges to some degree. Does anyone know how big of a selection of sugar free items they have at Goofy's Candy Co?
TIA...

If not there I'm sure the Confectionary or the Main Street Bakery in the Magic Kingdom would also have sugar free items. Disney is very accomodating for people on restricted diets.

I knew they were...and thank goodness for them being that way. I had already thought about the candy store in MK & DHS. I know there is something somewhere in Epcot...but AK and DTD is stumbing me. I am sure they are there somewhere and I am not thinking about it. I was just thinking that maybe we could go to Goofy's and "stock up" if they had a nice supply of different things!

I can't really remember first hand what they carried sugar free since I don't bother with that and my DH (who's diabetic) finds SF stuff makes him sick. But I did look through the restaurant pictures thread and found this:

There were lots of other pictures, but this was the only one where I could read the labels. ;) But they have a few different looking things in this picture, so I would expect that you won't be stuck choosing between two or three items.

Good luck!

Oh another place that I thought of at DTD west side, I belive the name of the place is called the Candy Cauldron. You can see them making candy and dipping apples throught the window.

I remember seeing a large selection of sugar free items at the bakeries and candy shops. My mom is diabetic, so we always look for this. Usually the CM can tell you what is sugar free also.
