goofed up a t shirt - transfer upside down

Is there any wasy to fix a shirt that has a transfer on upside down. I bought a bunch 2 yrs ago and am on the last two for my two daughters. once came out great, but on one I put the name upside down

I can't get another shirt like it. Is there a way to lift it off and put the name back on again with a new transfer?

Not to my knowledge you can't remove it. Not sure about covering it up either...so sorry, I have made a few mistakes in my time and I can feel for you.

I have never heard of a way of removing it (cleanly, anyway) but perhaps someone else will know of a way.

If not, rather than losing it completely, could you cut out the design and then sew the t-shirt patch (incl) design on to another shirt or sweater? Just a thought.

Luckily, dh suggested put a button over it (one of the many disney buttons they give for free and it fits perfectly. I will then put her name on the other sid. It's not a total loss. I am even thinking of using white fabric paint over it, it is only about an inch and a half or so, and going over it with black permanent marker. But I am not real familiar with how fabric paint, so before I push my luck, I should probably just go with the button idea
