We just returned from 7 nights at WLV where everything was GREAT. We fly from Montana so the soonest we can get to the lodge is about 6 PM. This time we e-mailed a shopping list (very specific too) to Goodings. How nice to arrive and have everything already there! Bellservice even placed some perishables in the restaurant coolers prior to our arrival. We snacked on fresh sushi and cold wine within minutes of checking in. We even had Krispy Kremes and Starbucks coffee ready for breakfast. Don't know about anyone else but after a long journey, no looks forward to a grocery stop- we're anxious to get "home".

Goodings did a superb job of getting our specific preferences exactly right. I highly recommend this little luxury!:bounce:

Thanks for the report. I have been on the fence about placing an order, not knowing if we would get the correct items. I think that I will start putting together my order for Christmas.

SJD, Goodings certainly commands a premium price for their goods. Could I ask how much they added for their delivery fee???? Thanks.........

I was looking for a grocery store on our recent trip to WDW. Guest Relations at the WL gave me directions to Goodings near Downtown Disney (I had left a list of nearby grocery stores at home, doggone it!)

What a RIP-OFF!! They are definitely taking advantage of the tourists.

The prices there are about the same as you'd pay in the stores at the resorts (some things were actually more expensive at Goodings than they were at the WL Mercantile! $5 for a box of Shredded Wheat? $0.90 for a jar of Baby Food! Yikes!

I was ticked when I left there! I'll never shop at Goodings again, and will certainly warn others to avoid it, as well!

Sorry to hear. They should have gave you directions to the new Winn Dixie just up the street a very short distance.IMHO you would have liked it a lot better.Goodings sold most of it's area stores to Winn Dixie but to no ones surprise, kept the crossroads location.People will pay for convenience.
