OP, I just remembered, I saw little table top bowling sets at the Dollar Tree. At least I think it was at the Dollar Tree. That would be kind of cute, for either gender.

ETA: They looked either identical to these, or like them. They're $5.xx at Amazon, so maybe they weren't the dollar tree??
