To say that Starbucks shouldn't be
allowed in the parks because you don't like it, makes absolutely no sense. It would be as ridiculous as me saying that just because I don't like the cinnamon rolls (I don't, they're awful!) so therefore WDW should just stop selling them.
It's not an issue of whether or not you personally like Starbucks, that is entire irrelevant to the argument.
Also regardless of whatever Consumer Board has discovered about Starbucks coffee roast, it is irrelevant (unless they found rat faeces in the beans

) Taste is entirely up to the individual. Some people will love Starbucks, some won't. Some will love those cinnamon rolls, some won't. Given it's one of the most popular coffee brands in the USA and possibly the world, Disney has decided to bring them into the parks. Disney
chose to bring Starbucks in, Starbucks hasn't bulldozed their way into Main St.
The reason they won't conceal their logo is down to two things. Firstly, it's the deal that Disney has made with them clearly. They're allowed to have a minimal sign that blends into the location but still identifies them as Starbucks brand. It is not the huge green sign that people on these boards as insisting it is. If you looked at the DCA location, you would already realise this.
Secondly, many people have argued that it should have no Starbucks signage. Instead somewhere should read "Proudly brewing Starbucks Coffee". This won't happen for a simply reason. The locations that have this signage outside WDW, only brew hot Starbucks coffee. The locations at DCA and soon to be MK and EPCOT locations, will have their full drinks menu including iced coffee and their frappuccinos, as well as some food menu items.
As people have already pointed out, McDonald's did have some sign to recogonise their brand. It was not over the top, just as the Starbucks sign will blend into the area very well.
StarBucks coffee is not better than the eh hem so called Nestle coffee. I don't like Starbucks at all. Why couldn't they just conceal the Starbucks logo and just serve the starbucks coffee like they did with McDonald Fries etc. at Frontier Land and World showcase in EPCOT? After all McDonald's coffee tastes so much better then that bitter tasting, outrageously priced Starbucks.

The March 2007 issue of Consumer Reports compared American fast-food chain coffees and ranked Starbucks behind McDonald's Premium Roast.[181] The magazine called Starbucks coffee "strong, but burnt and bitter enough to make your eyes water instead of open".
