Goodbye Aloha Isle? Hello Tiana's?

Good, that would be a terrible theming wise. Thanks for keeping on the lookout for that, and sharing. Hmm, moving Dole Whip to Sunshine Tree Terrace? Interesting idea. It wouldn't be all that much better at handling crowds though. I say if Disney does the Dole move they should go all out with enough seating and line space to handle the demand.

As much as I would like something more substantial for my Dole Whip experience (love the DLR setup), I think Sunshine Terrace is better than Aloha Isle. It's bigger, has more registers and more space for lines, and is rarely busy. There's at least 4 ordering spots; whereas, its generous to say that there's 2 spots at Aloha Isle. Neither really has any seating though:(

Speaking of substantial Dole Whip experiences, I think we also need some of those umbrellas and cherries they serve with the Dole Whips in DLR ;)

As much as I would love to see a Tiana themed restaurant, I don't think it fits in Adventure land....maybe at Port Orleans French Quarter, are you listening Disney?

I would like to see a new TS restaurant in MK. It really could use one.

So if they where to put a table service in this space, what theme would work? More pirates? I think Hawaiian or Tiki seem like a good fit but there is already so much of that at the Poly that I don’t think they would use those themes again. I would also like an Aladdin theme but I don't think that type of food would be popular enough. Could they do BBQ? Or something with Kabobs? I hope they put in another sit down and that it is a new type of food not just more burgers.

Disney does a pretty good job of food diversity compared some of the other theme parks, but I really do sincerely hope they serve breakfast in the new restaurant. However, kabobs could be fun as well...

Rumor has it it will be a jungle cruise theme and might have a skit like 50s prime time or something of that nature.

Jungle Cruise.

Rumor has it from many websites that it's going to be a Jungle Cruise themed restaurant that is "staffed" by the Jungle Cruise Skippers. The Tiana restaurant would just not make sense thematically in Adventureland. I would love a Tiana restaurant, just not in Adventureland. But a Jungle Cruise themed restaurant would be so awesome! Just think of all the bad jokes and puns they could make :rotfl:

It would be sad to see Aloha Isle close, I suppose they could move everything to the Sunshine Tree Terrace (I would love to see seating there). I wonder if the new restaurant will be counter service or table service?

Supposed to be table service

it could be themed like the original Colonel Hathi's at DLP - that would fit in adventureland or add elements from the Adventurer's Club (in Pleasure Island) - they would both be a better fit than Tiana

A tiana themed restaurant would be swell just not there. In my opionion they should wait till the new Polynesian princess comes out to build any princess themed restaurant.

Given the possible menu, I would definitely make an ADR for Tiana's at POFQ.

MK definitely needs more dining options, but with BOG and CP I actually think it's somewhat better than DHS.

I think for me the only thing that irritates me about MK dining is that you can not get breakfast ANYWHERE. Save the obvious CP and CRT, there's no where to get a real, genuine table service or quick service breakfast. I just need a plate of Mickey Waffles with bacon in the morning. I don't need/nor do I have money for a giant buffet or elaborate experience (even though I rather love CP and CRT when I go). If I'm rope dropping and I want to get in as much in as possible, and I'm all by myself, where am I going to go to get a real breakfast? If Magic Kingdom had just one QS location that served breakfast the way the resort QS locations do, everything would be fine. But really, they don't. Like I said- Tiana's would be a good answer to DL's River Belle Terrace. Just a simple Mickey pancake plate in the morning and I'm good to go.

Oof, that was a rant and a half. Sorry bout that :rotfl:

I agree. Counter-service breakfast options is something that is sorely lacking and should be added in every park. Additionally, in MK, I would love to see them bring back breakfast service at Tony's. That was a great breakfast in a great setting.

Tony's had a breakfast service? :scared1:

I've heard it's going to be a pirate themed situation so there's a good boy option.

It's going to be Jungle Cruise themed. I have no insider information, that's just my prediction.
We shall see!
