While i have had my run ins with the mods, in particular Mal, over my course as a Dis member, i have to agree with her on this one. There are too many OT, random polls, and double posts on the VMK section of the Dis. I also agree that the diversity of ages, locations, and genders makes Dis more fun, you also have ot take into account the fact that kids are exactly that, KIDS. something they may think is super important like the post about "I JUST LOGGED INTO VMK, WOO HOO!!!" is important, us adults are like "What the heck". I dont know a good solution to this problem other then limiting users abilities to start new threads, but still aloow them to post on existing threads. Then again, what do i know.

But anyway there is way to much griping and complaining about how this was wrong and that was wrong...... Please!! If all you want to talk about is vmk, please make it about the good things in VMK, like the speculation about the rest of tommorowland, yavn's latest Item, or the possibility of there being more lands, just please no more complaining, please!!

...but lately the OT posts were outnumbering the on topic ones and we noticed that alot of the Members have/had quit posting to the boards altogether.

You hit the nail on the head here. I've barely posted recently, because I just skim through a lot of threads that I think are pointless and I find myself just rolling my eyes at some of the junk I see. Lots of OT and lots of "I'm ## in line" over and over. When I first joined, there was still a fair share of OT, but it wasn't out of hand and it didn't overwhelm the true purpose of this board: VMK.

Either way, you mods have done a great job and I still come to Dis for all my VMK happenings.

I must agree, there are an awful lot of off-topics. I am one of those people who created some of those (Sorry Mal for you spent some time closing some...), but I must admit, off-topic threads are pretty funny sometimes.
