My mom and I are leaving for Disney on Sept. 3rd. We want to buy a bottle or maybe 2 =P of some wine to have at the hotel a few of the nights. What are some good recommendations. We both like a white and more on the sweeter side. Also if anyone knows how much the bottle they suggest may have cost that's great too! Thanks :)

I should have said to even though it's in my title that I'm talking about in the World Showcase at Epcot haha my bad.

Not familiar with what wines are available at Epcot. But Germany should have the somewhat sweeter wines available. Maybe a Reisling but check whether its dry or sweet.

I prefer full bodied dry reds. I'll probably head to Italy for Chianti or Primitovo or France for a decent Bordeaux. Does America have US wines?

If you do get wine at Germany in Epcot just give the Castmembers your taste preference and they will help you find a good wine. Cost?

Screen ? Door on the Boardwalk used to sell wine but I don't think you would be allowed back into the park with a purchased bottle from there.

Italy sells Rosa Regale, which is a sparkling rose. Absolutely sweet and is yummy with dark chocolate. You can buy a sample glass at Italy if you want to try it first before you purchase a bottle.

And I believe I have seen things like Arbor Mist (not really wine) for sale at Seasons in the Land. Or that might have just been a bad dream.

I'd suggest going to Germany and doing a wine tasting there. Once you've tried a few, you can then make a decision on what's right for your taste. They have some wonderful Rieslings there.

Thanks! I do like Riesling so I will probably try and find a good bottle of that while we are there. The night we get there Epcot is the EMH at night so we are def. hitting up Epcot and plan to buy it that evening. The following day we are spending the whole day at Universal so the plan is to come back from Universal and relax w. a nice glass of Vino at the pool or a table outside. :)

I buy a great bottle of Riesling in Germany every time we're there - I believe the name is Diva - it's always in the barrel near the cash register - good luck - have fun

Head to Italy and get a bottle of the sparkling rose!!
Its gorgeous!!
A little pricier than the German wine but so worth it!!!

My favorite is Madonna Spaetlese at the German pavillion. It is $18, and is an excellent, sweet Riesling.
