Good Viewing Spot for Wishes and Time?

Does anyone know of a great spot to view Wishes that might have somewhere to sit other than on the ground? My mom and aunt both have arthritis in knees/back and will not be able to sit on the ground for long or stand for prolonged periods of time.

They have never seen Wishes or Celebrate the Magic. What time would you suggest we arrive to get a good viewing spot? I know from prior experience that the area directly in front of the Castle will start filling up early before the show. After wishes is over is their a easier way to exit the park without getting ran over? We will most likely be in MK on Wednesday November 12 since MK is closing at 7:00 for Mickey's Christmas Party a couple of times when we are visiting.

based on other posters' info on the boards and personal experience.

As for "seats," there are very few.

Near Casey's and the Plaza, there are some tables.
They can be taken hours before the show.

Likewise, on the upper level of the railroad station.
Guests must be very, very early, or at least very, very lucky to get any of those.

(And, the view of "Celebrate the Magic" is much less than ideal from the Railroad Station.)

We usually watch from fantasyland to avoid the crowds and have to preposition so early. Last time we sat on the wall right behind the carousel and before enchanted tales with belle and it was great for my dad who has poor knees. You do miss the front view vantage point but can see all the fireworks.

Just to be clear... "Celebrate the Magic" cannot be seen at all from inside Fantasyland.

We were lucky one night durning MNSSHP last year and got one of the tables in front of the Plaza. PERFECT viewing of both celebrate the magic and wishes. We were comfortable and not surrounded by huge crowds. If your willing to sacrifice the time it's totally worth it.

Yup.

As the Hub re-build continues, walls may go up and come down at various stages of construction.
Guests must take a look at what is or is not available
on the date(s) they are at MK.

We don't know how the re-surfaced Hub will affect things like "seats" and/or FP+ area(s) for Wishes, as time goes on.

This will be a "moving target" for quite some time.

The fireworks show cannot be seen from inside the restaurant.

Robo seems to have you covered but if I could just add my two cents.

How much time are you willing to get there in advance? If you're willing to show up about 30 minutes before the start of CTM, you should definitely go for a spot in between Casey's and Plaza or just a bit back. Be warned, there's a lot of construction in this area.

If you're arriving any later, you'll be getting spots further down MSUSA, which are still very good. Once you move past the Emporium though, note the building lights will probably remain on, which takes away from the experience for some. Also, that location does not provide ideal viewing for CTM.

If it's your friends' first time and they have difficulty standing, I'd highly recommend the Wishes Dessert Party. We did it for the first time back in June and loved it (the IllumiNations one umm... was a different story) with the wide array of desserts, covered seating, and prime viewing for CTM and Wishes. It was great and, in my opinion, well worth $30. If you do this, you might want to move your ADR earlier to around 6 or so.

Maybe booking a cruise to view fireworks from the lake? It's spendy but seems amazing and you can sit the whole time.

Based on when you are going, I'm not sure I would put much faith in the walls' current positions. They are likely to change.
