DH and I are going to DL in a couple weeks. We would like to make ADRs for a few places. What places do you suggest? We went to the Blue Bayou and Carnation Cafe on our last trip. This time we want to try some other places. We're staying at the Grand Californian, so we might want to try something out there.

There are lots of other good places to eat if you are not limited to Disneyland. I would suggest Storyteller's Cafe at the GCH and Hooke's Point at the DLH. We always eat at those two places every trip and have never been disappointed. We also like the Trattoria in DCA. Also try out the new Cafe Orleans--we will be there in November to try it for the first time. And, don't forget some good places in DTD.

Of course, I really like Carnation Cafe so we will eat there as well.

We ate at Storyteller's Cafe one night after DCA closed so it was around 9:30 at night. I have to say the CM were so nice, talking to us about our day, where we were from, etc.... We never felt rushed even though you knew they stayed open for us. The food was great too.

We ate at Napa Rose and Storyteller's Cafe and both were pretty good. We did the breakfast buffet @ Storyteller's and had dinner @ Napa.

The menu for Napa Rose is seasonal, so it might be different for you than it was for us, or I'd make a recommendation.

ETA: We also did Hooks Pointe (great Salmon!); Goofy's Kitchen (breakfast); and Granville Steakhouse (the best meat I've gotten in a long time!).
