DH & I are bringing a high school group of 23 students to Orlando in November. We're doing a Sea World organized trip, but after that we need two good, relatively inexpensive, restaurants for dinners after long days at Universal and IOA. They will be hungry! LOL!

Anyone have any suggestions? We're staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suites on Canada Drive.

We're considering Friday's Front Row Sports Grill. Is it suitable for teenagers?
Any other places? Any City Walk choices that are better than others?

here is a link to the city walk restaurants. Just scroll down until you get to city walk.

My kids like Margaritaville and Hard Rock.

Cici Pizza is all you can eat Pizza for under $5. Its not the most wonderful pizza you will ever eat, but it also has a small salad bar and teens seem to like it.

Sweet Tomatoes is an all you can eat salad buffet and its another place kids seem to like that not very expensive.

There are several Golden Corrals, they have lots of different types of food and they are not expensive.

Another idea that is more expensive is Boston Lobster Feast. Once again, its not the most wonderful Lobster you will ever eat, but all you can eat Lobster is always popular with teenagers.

Fridays Front Row is definitely suited for teens (it's more restaurant than bar), and I know they have a "private room" upstairs that I imagine you could book, if you were interested. Prices are in line with other Fridays.

Thought the name may throw you off a little, Orlando Alehouse on Kirkman might not be a bad choice, either. Definitely fits the "relatively inexpensive" criteria, big and open so it's good for a crowd of teens, and it's not really a "bar" (despite the name) until 10 pm or so.

Hard Rock and Margaritaville are fun choices, but neither is anywhere near close to inexpensive. Also, I would call ahead to see if you can arrange seating.

You might be interested in Universal's Meal and a Movie option. The last time we were there (last December), it was $19.95 and included dinner/drink/tip from a selected menu at most of the restaurants in CityWalk AND a movie ticket for the movie theater in CityWalk (with their choice of the movie). Since the hours in November are probably shorter, this would provide an evening's entertainment for them.

I'll post the link when I find it.

ETA: Looks like it's gone up to $21.95. The link below will take you to a page that explains it and also has a link to the menus that you can choose from.

There's a Perkins, MC Donalds, and either Popyes or Church Chicken and Burger King. There is plenty of places that is in walking distance of the hotel. I stay at the Hawthorne Suites on Canada Avenue and walk dinner every night. Be sure try Tony' s Roma there food is awesome.

Check for coupons in the hotel lobby they have plenty of Buy One Get One free deals.
