Hi All!

Where are your favorite, but reasonable breakfast places in or near WDW? I know Hoolihans has a buffet for $5.95 but I never tried it. I'm all for any suggestions that you may have.

Thanks all!

Brunette

We like the Ponderosa on East Irlo Bronson (the West one is awfully busy, but appears to be newer/cleaner). The weird reason why I like the East location better, is that for some really weird reason they have a full salad bar out for breakfast :rotfl2:

Don't know why, but I love salad for breakfast. It's about 5.99 and drinks are extra. There's a decent gift shop attached to the restaurant, and we have picked up some nice Tee shirts and other souvies in the past.

Try checking out the menu at Shades of Green. It's across from the Poly. I have never personally had breakfast there, but I've had supper buffet and taken a $14.00 3 topping pizza back to ASMu. It's very reasonable, and the food has always been great. Sorry if I hijacked the thread.

Pampam, I thought you had to be in the service to even eat there? If that's not the case, then I look forward to trying it on our next trip. Their buffets sound good, and are reasonable priced.

Ponderosa sounds good! Thanks for that suggestion. As far as the Shades of Green, I understand (according to allears) that they have very reasonable dinner buffets under $19.00! I wonder if their dinners are good? I should check to see what they have to offer for breakfast. Thanks for the great suggestions.

No, you can eat there without being a guest. They have reasonably priced massages and reflexology treatments too. but this is getting way off topic.:flower3:

Houlihan's really isn't much of a bargain. The buffet has a limited selection and the $5.99 doesn't include coffee ($2.00, not bottomless cup), juice ($3.00) or milk ($2.00). These were the prices several years ago; they may have changed. We went once and were not impressed.

REALLY????? I never knew that. Do you have to be a guest at the hotel to get a massage? Thanks for the info!
