I have never bought plane tickets for myself. When I was in college I studied abroad and the round trip plane ticket to Europe was a lot. Any other time I have flown with my parents. So - I have no idea what plane tickets are supposed to cost. We normally drive to Disney but I am taking my sister to WDW at Christmas and we have very little time and don't want to waste it driving. Last night I found round trip tickets from Louisville to Orlando for $249 ea. Is this a good price? Do tickets get more expensive the longer you wait to purchase them? I know that Christmas is probably one of the most expensive times to fly. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. TIA!
