Hi, I have recently cleaned out my bookshelf to make room for new books as I am an extreme reader. I kept a lot that I knew that I would want to read again, but there are about 10 that I know I will never read again.

I was wondering what are some good websites that you have used personally and trust OTHER THAN EBAY where I can sell back some books?

Have you heard of http://www.paperbackswap.com ?

It's not a selling service, but a trading service. You list the books you want and the books you have for trade. If someone requests your book, you get a credit and then you can request a book. You only pay for the postage of mailing out your book ~$2.50. DH is an extreme reader, and he loves it because he rarely has to pay full price for anything, and there is a much bigger selection than the local used places.

If the books are worth any money, try Amazon. I sell hundreds of books on Amazon each year. No fee until the book sells, no need to submit photographs, etc.

personally before I went through all the money of trying to sell them online, b/c you'll probably be out more in shipping than you'll get back in the cost of the actual books, I'd check out any local bookstores that buy back used books. We used to have several Half Price Books in our old town, but even in our new town we have 3 local bookstores that buy back used books.
