I got a free lithograph at the World of Disney store when we spent $75 there (Like that was hard to do! ) and would like to get it matted and framed. Does anyone know of a good, cheap place to go to have this done?

Well I would say it depends on what you're looking for. If you just want it framed and are not too concerned with archival quality framing then you could go to most of the craft stores and pick up a mat and frame (presuming it is close to a standard size) and do it yourself.

That would be least expensive. Otherwise, if you need someone to cut a mat probably a place like Hobby Lobby. I know if I'm having something framed that I want to last I take it to a local frame shop. Of course I have the added benefit there that this is a merchant who supports our choir program through scrip and so 20% of what I spend goes back to our general choir fund (2%) and the rest to my son's account (18%).

I think it depends on the framer. In our town there is a frame shop that does the most amazing laser cut mats. I've used them for some cross-stitchings I've done. If it was just a poster I'd get the stuff at Michael's and do it myself. For something like you bought I'd ask around in your town for a framer with a good reputation. You can go in the stores and look at their work too.

Michael's is another good place but I don't know how much they charge. Usually in the Sunday papers they have 40% off coupons weekly (they might have them on their website too). I don't know if I sent you one if it would reach you before it expired Scott. If you don't get a Sunday paper and want to give them a try and they don't have a coupon on their website, let me know and I'll get a coupon to you somehow!!!!

Thanks for the offer Chris, but we don't have a Michael's around here. We do have a Hobby Lobby though, I think I'll check them out. I don't want to pay too much to have it done, but I would like it to look nice.
