Hi all - After baking my 30 dozen CHristmas cookies on my old tired cookie sheets I've decided it's time to buy some new ones.....What's your favorite brand? I don't want to spend a ton of money, but I'd like them to last awhile.

Thanks

I love love love my Doughmakers cookie sheets. They don't rust. I've found them online at Amazon and Ace Hardware outlet online. I bought my mom a set for Christmas and ordered directly from Doughmakers.

I have a couple of nice Calphalon commercial grade cookie sheets my DH bought for me for Xmas at Home Goods. I think they were around $7 or $8 each.

I do a lot of cookie baking for family weddings/gatherings....this Christmas alone I made 95 dozen cookies just for my Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners!! Last year I replaced my 30 year old stainless steel sheets with the heavy aluminum ones from Sam's Club. Last year's mark says Polarware and this year they are Baker's and Chef's. Both sets look identical and they are made in the USA...a package of 2 cookie sheets for $10.48. They are very sturdy and don't buckle in the oven at higher temps. They also can be used as jelly roll pans.
I always use parchment sheets to bake cookies and never have a problem with sticking or washing the sheets between batches either.

Good Luck,

Babs

I was going to suggest Sam's too. They have quality stuff for good prices. A couple years ago, I was on a big pampered chef craze, and I wanted to get one of their big family sized skillets with the lid, but it was SO expensive. My husband found me a giant Maker's Mark skillet at Sam's that was just as nice as the PC one, but only $30. Since then, I always check Sam's for stuff like that.

I have Calphalons and Wiltons and love them both. I've had the calphalons for over 7 years and are still in great condition. I've had the Wiltons for 4 years and they still look brand new. I bake cookies at least once a week.

I have cheapy Ecco cookie sheets and they are just fine for me. However, I bought oven liner at Christmas Tree Shop just a few weeks ago, on the recommendation of a friend, and I cut them to fit. It's AWESOME. A very inexpensive replacement for Silpats. No more sticking, no spraying or greasing, no parchment. The cookies just slide off, just rinse the mat and reuse. I think a roll that will fit your oven was $4.95 and I got 2 mats for my cookie sheets out of each one.

I replaced mine afew years ago with Wiltons. Just love them. I got them at Bed,Bath, and Beyond. Watch for their coupons.

Kohl's carries Wilton baking pans/sheets now and are often on sale.

BTW, watch the Ecco. I had some Ecco pans that I just threw out because the lining was flaking and peeling.

Thanks for the replies!

I'm going to Sam's today (for food for tomorrow)....so I'm going to look & see...

Never heard of Doughmakers......will have to look & find those....

I use them for a lot of pizzas, appetizer things as well..so it's not just cookies...

I second the idea of going to a warehouse club! I have been using the same aluminum baking pans that I got at BJ's more than FIFTEEN years ago! They were cheap, are heavy aluminum, BJ's own brand, and they are great. :)

We also have the cookie pans from Sam'sClub. Just like the other posters, I love them!

I have airbake cookie sheets & the jellyroll pan.
They work great & nothing ever burns.
I've had them quite a while , use them lots & they still look like new.

I have a couple of different brands but wanted to second the poster who wrote about using parchment paper. I think it really makes a difference and I have not burned any cookies since I started using it.

I also use the sam's club, but instead of parchment I use the Silpat liners and things never stick.
