My thoughts exactly. OP set the tone for tongue in cheek. (And I was glad! I expected it to be more serious/demanding, and it wasn't.)

I know the weekend will be busy but hoping the following week will level out a little. Have a good time, as long as you have you FP+s and ADRs made everything else should just fall into place, that's the plan anyway.

Just back from a quick/long weekend trip. Lights are beautiful, magic bands worked with out a glitch. Go early in am , then stay late in pm, have fun and enjoy! So many people don't read these boards. I saw people groan at All star sports when they saw food ct was closed and by the way they were carrying mugs from about 1998.... We over analyze and feel we aren't getting the best experience because we didn't get in HS at 845 and get to ride toy story mania 3 times before 9 am and so on. I would take "1 tiered fp+" over doing my laundry any day. Have a magical trip!!!!

we leave this Friday (taking red-eye) and arrive early Saturday morning for 13 MICKEYLICIOUS days of great friends, fun, magic, holiday decorations, food and more food!

Bonus: no cooking, cleaning, making beds, cleaning, cooking

you can choose to make the best of each day, be kind, smile, spread a little and have a great day!

I stressed and over thought everything for the trip we are taking in 23 days... (22 according to DS she doesn't count today as the worst part is over, waking up)

I worried on would we or wouldnt we get Bands and FP+, then if we could get a BOG FP, and you know what i over did it... and now, I am ready for a go with the flow vacation, we will still go the planned parks as it works best with our ADR's and crowds and our touring schedule, but if we aren't gonna make a FP+ then we will try and change it and if not...

I'll take people watching, and snacking at Walt Disney World over work (I love my Job), house chores, cooking and cleaning... ANY DAY OF THE YEAR!

Our MB did work without a hitch and we even switched resorts.....

We attended Food and Wine at Epcot and while it was busy we still never waiting more than 5 min in any of the food lines....

Our last day at DTD was fabulous and not crowded at alll Love it!

Weather was spectacular!! Not hot, but breezy and just beautiful!!

Enjoy your vacation!!! I am sure it will be magical!!!!

Can not wait to go back!!!! 6 months!!!!

After 9 days my magic band still won't open the door to my tent. I'm contemplating the success of falling into the tent door when I'm dead on my feet tired. If I lead with my wrist, will the door open? Probably not, it's an LL Bean tent. It'll hold up to anything. Lol.

OK...some positives....my DW and I will be coming down on 12/8 for 4 great nights in a 1 bedroom at Animal Kingdom and 3 fabulous nights on the Disney Dream....and I have made the decision that I will retire from my job that I have worked for 44 years on March 1, 2014....some real positives I would say!!!

We are one week from our Thanksgiving trip! Yay! From here on out I want to hear only good things like:

Magic bands are awesome but aren't affecting lines negatively.

Weather is perfect!

No one is sick at Disney or anywhere else in the world.

CMs are helpful and adding to the magic.

Traffic the day before Thanksgiving in Atlanta will be a breeze.

All of the large tour groups cancelled.

Maybe this time I won't have crazy Disney dreams about things going wrong!! I'm so ready for this vacation. After the year we've had, we need it!!

What a nice post. I swing back and forth between worry about all the changes and excitement for this trip. Today I just need to be excited.
We've been running ourselves into the ground around here.. I can't wait to just STOP.
If I want to sleep in, I will! In fact probably a few times

I can't wait to try not one, not two, not three but FOUR new hotels!
Our first night is in DTD, then 7 nights at Wilderness Lodge Villas, a final Disney night at AoA, and our last night at the airport Hyatt.

I am going to my first ever MVMCP!!! I've watched the promo video on the Disney site for years now. I always read the posts here of people excited for their Christmas trips wishing we could swing a Christmas time trip.. and now it's our turn!!!

I can't wait to hear the voice on Disney transportation announcing our destination!!

I can't wait for our first ever Wishes dessert party!!

I can't wait for all of our ADR's and trying both new and old favourite restaurants!

I can't wait for the Holiday Sleigh Ride at Fort Wilderness!!

There will be so many firsts on this trip and even with all of the uncertainty I plan to have a wonderful time
