Everything is up but the pictures at the Coral Gardens and Stingray City. I promise to get them up this weekend. Unfortunately I am spoiled with my digital camera and I am finding it difficult to take the underwater camera to get developed.

Thank you for the feedback I have already received. I have added new things to the first few pages so if you have already read them, go through and skim again. On day 1 I added a pic of the lithograph we got and I added a bit more info about Key West.

How much did it cost each of you?

Was there truly no line? I thought it would be a big waste of a day at CC but if the whole process went quickly maybe this is the way to go.

Are the braids still in? How are you caring for them?

I can't get anything to show up on Day 6, 7, 8 - blank pages. Hey, that was really, really cool of you guys to switch rooms with that other family They were lucky to be cruising with you. Glad you had a great vacation - I was *too shy* to meet with other DISers last year. DH is not into the DIS - just doesn't understand. I hope I get the courage this time round to wear a ribbon. I've put your page in my FAVs so I'll keep checking. Can't wait to finish reading it - as I'm reading, I feel as though I'm on vacation with you all.

I cruised on NCL to Key West and Cozumel in Dec.
This Nov DH, DS and I are on the Disney Magic Eastern Caribbean. Your pictures/report combined both for me.

Did DH rent his tux? or bring it with him?

To answer all questions so far:

Sonya - It only took about 20 minutes to do my hair and 30 minutes to do dd's (she squiggled a lot more). My head was 43 including tip and hers was 35. There was no line and no waiting pretty much all morning from what the ladies told me. As Bri was getting hers done, the line was starting to form. I'd say it was around 11:00 or so. They are still in both of us, but I will probably take them out this weekend. It is hard for me to sleep with the beads digging into my skull and they are really tight, so certain facial expressions are not possible...DD's are getting really frizzy, but she has that kind of hair that won't stay up in a ponytail or braid no matter how tight you make it. I don't really do anything to my braids and the lady who braided it said don't use conditioner, just shampoo. Let me know if I haven't answered your questions.

Trishy - I just checked and the pages seem to be ok. A few of those pages have ALOT of pictures so it may just be taking a few minutes to download the pictures if you have a 56k modem. I have a cable modem at home and a T1 at work, so I can't verify that this is the case, but it is very possible. Let it go for a minute or 2 and see if they show up.

imgoingtodisney - Yes my hubby rented the tux. We had actually looked at suits and found them to expensive to purchase for just one trip. The tux was quite inexpensive to rent. I'm glad my report helped. Hopefully I will get to enjoy the Eastern caribbean soon to.

Jennifer: I really enjoyed your report. Too bad I don't know how to add pictures! But yours are beatiful!

I am soooo jealous that you got to eat with John Charles! He was our favorite entertainer! He was so nice to our daughter Kaylie at his Rockin Bar D show! I made a point to thank him for that! Glad you enjoyed your trip!

You have a nice family and it seems you all had a great time!
On another thread before the first western sailed, I had read that Xcaret was only 4 hours. We have been there twice and each time we were there we spent ALL DAY! 4 hours is not worth it. ( time or Money) Cozumel is a great island and there are some great beaches for just a cab ride away....As for shopping they expect you to Bargin! We have been to Cozumel 6 times and love the Island! BTW it is just as safe to use your credit cards in Mexico as it is in the US. We use ours every trip, for everything and have never had a problem. On the other hand,
Some small family owned shops and resturants do not except them. traverlers checks are widley accepted.

I just LOVED your report. Are you still planning to post the Kid's Navigators? We are going on the Western 7 Day Cruise in September and my girls (twins) will be in the 8/9 year old group (they turn 9 on board) and we would love to see what activities they will have available.

Wanted to add my thanks for a trip report well done I loved reading it, learned alot for planning my own vacation. I have been hearing so much about hair braiding but have seen no pictures. Now I know what they look like, very flattering on you and your dd. Look abit tight for comfort though, I might pass for myself, tender head. Thanks again!
