I was wondering if there are any good neighbor hotels that offer transportation to Universal Studios? If not, what is the best form of transportation to get to Universal and Sea World from a Disneyland good neighbor hotel.

Also, which hotels (if any) offer a free hot breakfast?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Grayhound does some tour buses to each from some of the hotels around DL. They aren't real fast so consider doing a rental car if you don't mind the driving in traffic.

Also if you plan to see all three parks take a look at www.citypass.com the socal pass offers ticket to all three plus the SD zoo or safari park.

A free hot breakfast is tough to find and will limit hotel options.
Park Vue Inn, Annabelle, and BW Park Place come to mind. Though some hot breakfast have a variety of hot items some just waffles or microwaved omelets.

The Annabella restaurant does serve breakfast, however not all guests get free breakfast it depends on your package. For example we booked through WDTC at Christmas and did not get free breakfast.

If you're willing to stay a bit further away. The Marriot Residence Inns and Embassy Suites offer full hot breakfast buffets. The Embassy has an omelette bar. They have the best breakfast, IMO, followed very closely by RI.

Unfortunately neither PVI nor BWPPI have hot breakfasts. They are just continental.

Doesn't BWPPI have their breakfast above Captain Kids? Maybe it partnered with a different hotel. The Desert Inn?

The Park Vue Inn does in fact have hot breakfast items.

I currently have reservations at both BWPPI and PVI for next month (I will have to cancel one of them, just don't know which yet). Their websites (and Tripadvisor.com) say that it is just a continental breakfast. If there are in fact hot items as well that would be great, I just wasn't counting on it. And yes, BWPPI's breakfast is still in the room above CK's.

Here are the tours that are offered by Gray Line. We did the Sea World one and it was great. It's really just transportation, not a tour. You will get dropped off at the park that you're going to and then the bus will pick you up when it's time to leave. I don't like driving in California, so it worked out great for us. :)

Park Vue has a hot breakfast as well as the usual stuff from a continental breakfast. We were there the beginning of Feb for 10 days. They alternated between bacon and sausage each day and had eggs, hash browns, fresh homemade waffles, biscuits etc.

They also have a social hour in the evening that works for a light dinner. What they offered changed each day.

Awesome! That's a very pleasant surprise! :thumbsup2
