Ok, I read this on a previous thread, what is it and what states qualify for this? How much is the discount? Do you have to ask for it? They didn't offer it when I made my reservations (if Alabama is one of the states)

I've never heard of a "Good Neighbor Discount" for ressies. Also - they do not offer any discount plans when you make your ressie. You need to ask or tell them you have....Annual Pass, Florida Resident, AAA, or any other discount offer you may have run across.

The "Good Neighbor Discount" you are speaking of (IIRC) is on Annual Passes. They have extended the Florida resident discount to GA, AL, NC, SC - and I don't know how good this offer is for.

so is this good on tickets and campsite rates? I will call today.

That's the first place I looked when I saw your post. I also looked on the DIScounts board over on resorts, and nothing new. Both of those places are usually all over any new discounts!! There was a good neighbor rate last fall, but nothing this year yet.

Yeah, it's over....I got it for the holidays our past trip and got a fantastic rate. Of course when I went to book again..."I'm sorry ma'm, that promotion is no longer being offered" DANGIT!

OK, I don't spend much time on the boards these days. Can someone explain the "Good Neighbor" rate to me and how you get it applied during the Holidays? I have two reservations made thus far for '09 and in each instance they are during holiday periods (July 4th and Christmas Holidays) and I could only get a premium site. Size of my TT might have something to do with that (it's 30'). Anyway, I haven't heard of the Good Neighbor rate and we are annual pass holders and live in Georgia. I understand about annual pass holder rates not always being available, especially during peak and holiday seasons, but any discount off of $105/night helps...a discount is a discount.
