This is kind of funny. On all of these threads, cough "Ty" cough posts. Everyone asks "ty" if he is for real. He hasn't responded to any of the ones that I have ckecked. The poppycock radar is beeping.

I have seen these alleged celebrities:
Miley Cyrus
Ty Pennington
Oprah
Kellie Pickler
Paris Hilton
Tommy Lee
Chef Gordon Ramsay (yes, I'm sure that he's into Disney )
Patrick Stewart
Jesus Christ
I have heard of these:
Paula Abdul
Randy Jackson

And many more...

So, is this some kind of trend. I personally find it strange and unnecessary. Could it be a scheme to get attention?
On the MINISCULE chance that these people are for real, is it just a scheme to create a buzz and spread there name.

And on the miniscule chance that one of them is for real, I am sorry for shouting. There is just no proof whatsoever!

Okay, after a day of checking in occasionally I still stand by my belief that this is a total scam--but rather than being perpetrated by any "Average Joe" . . . .

I have definitely concluded that this has to be something cooked up by the Webmasters and mods to have some fun with us (so I am less ticked off that some idiot "troll" is just playing with us to make us look stupid!)

The evidence:

1. Too many "celebrity" postings at once.

2. They all have an August 2006 join date, but didn't start posting until now.

3. MOST IMPORTANTLY--they all have high post count numbers but a search of their posts only shows a few actual posts. I assume this could only be altered by the webmasters/moderators.

4. And even more significant--most of the ones I have seen (I haven't searched for all of them) HAVE TAGS-- the tag fairy doesn't generally dole those out that fast --PROOF that it is the work of those in control of the boards!!!!
I just hope they haven't actually kidnapped the tag fairy in order to carry out their plans and try to look "legit"!!!

So I am guessing some Halloween Hi-jinks are in the works.

How do those people actually expect us to believe they are the celebrities they are pretending to be. Anyone can have there screename as that celebrity, get a picture of them as a sig and say there that person.

Done more snooping around these here DIS boards. The best "view" I found so far of what is going on is on the "Good Morning" thread posted on the Community Board. Most of the "celebs" have posted there, and have dropped some hints.

A mod (Obi-One-Pinobi--did I spell that right?) there did confirm that this is the doing of the mods and there is some sort of secret they are working on. The mod also said that ONE CELEB is REAL, and there are more (real or imagined?) to come.

They seem to be getting more of the story over there.


Oh, and as for actual Celebs worth seeing a post from--THE TAG FAIRY ACTUALLY POSTED ON THAT THREAD!!! That is the biggest celeb so far!

Didnt the " celebs" come out of the woodwork once before? They were mods who disquised themselves because they were judging some kind of contest on the community board........looks awful similiar.
