Can anyone tell me if this breakfast compares to what you might get at the Sequoia Lodge?

It was all booked up when we went and when we where doing EMH in Fantasyland we saw the B'fast signs and people going on and were just curious if it was like our breakfast or something different. I'm just being a nosey parker really!!:rotfl:

Hi Fiona,

Its based very much along the same lines as the SL breakfast.

It's similar to SL. We've eaten once at Au Chalet and once at Plaza Gardens. At Plaza Gardens, I found it slightly quieter overall (which was rather nice) plus they had warm (plain) brioche & croissants (under the 'heater') which they didn't have at Au Chalet/SL.

Did you have to pay for the PG?

I knew that the GMFB can move around a bit, but to mainstreet?

No, we didn't have to pay for PG.

*is about to sound really dumb*... something i've always wondered- I've often heard about the good morning fantasyland breakfast and heard people mention going during the extra magic hours. But how does it work? Do you pay or do you just go along with your breakfast ticket from the hotel?

Firstly, when we've had a GMFB in the past, it's been almost identical to the continental part of the hotel breakfast, with the one exception that I haven't been able to get hold of the little cheesespread portions at GMFB which they've had at the hotel.

As for whether there's a cost or not, we've only ever been before EMH were introduced, but I would imagine that as GMFB is a perk only available to the truly on-site hotels (i.e. not available at DCR as far as I know), where as EMH are available to all disney hotels (including the DCR as far as I know), then I would expect there to be a charge for GMFB.

the best thing u can do is, when ur checkin into ur disney hotel, and they ask u what time u want ur breakfasts.... ask if u can have a gmf breakfast, and they will let u know what days/times they have available.
thats what we did when we went. we only got the one, as it was too late for the next morning, and the 3rd morning we wudnt have a park pass - so it worked out great for us!!

There is no extra charge for the GMF breakfast - its an option when you are staying at selected onsite hotels, instead of breakfast at your hotel.

As scampbunny says, you ask when you check into your hotel if GMF is available during your stay.
