Good middle name for Austin?

Charles? Aaron? Matthew? Michael? Christopher? James? Andrew? Daniel? Cameron? Thomas? Bradley? Morgan? Robert? Tyler?

I have a Austin too. His Dad and I could never agree on a middle name. We ended up in huge argument over the middle name. We were in the car and it was decided, the next cross street we came to would be his middle name no matter what.

So he's Austin Taylor

you got lucky- his name could be Austin 83rd

I know a little guy who's name is Austin Ford. He is not named after the car company, but his middle name is the last name of the nurse who saved his life at birth.

Ok I'm going to say I still like Austin James. In fact I like it a lot. And I've said it over and over and it still comes out right in my head/voice. :) Also, DBF is Micah Robert James Smith (yup, mouthful), he was supposed to be Robert James Smith but his Mom discovered Micah at the last minute and wanted to use that so that it is. Anyway, with James Smith you'd think it would be a slur but it isn't.....so honestly I would go with Austin James. :) And don't worry about not using a family name in his name, my 2 older DDs have "family" names but my youngest does not, her name is completely her own and she doesn't feel bad about it at all. :)

My husband and I are expecting our third child and we found out yesteday it is a boy. We had already decided on naming him Austin prior to finding out what we are having. We have been having a difficult time picking the "perfect" middle name for him. I like Austin James but it doesn't flow smoothly with our last name. Our last name is Charrier (pronounced Sherry A) so anything that ends with the "s" or "sh" sound will not flow smoothly since you have to distinctively pause between the middle and last name to pronounce them correctly. For example, if you try to say Austin James Charrier with out pausing to make sure you say it correctly you will say Austin Jame Charrier. We'd like some suggestions of middle names to use. The middle names we have thought of so far are: Christopher, Edward, Eli, Jacob, Gregory, and Matthew. My husband's name is Gregory Michael Charrier, so we named our other son Cameron Michael. We used his middle name for our son and my middle name for our daughter, Macy Lynn. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

Try the first or middle names of grandfathers. Or, your maiden name. I'm going through DS old school PTO address book and these might sound good with your first and last name:

Austin Bradley Charrier
Autsin Alexander Charrier
Austin Spencer Charrier
Austin Parker Charrier
Austin Peyton Charrier
Austin Hayden Charrier
Austin Harrison Charrier
Austin Merrill Charrier
Austin Bryce Charrier
Austin Evan Charrier
Austin Miles Charrier
Austin Daniel Charrier
Austin Garrett Charrier
Austin Emery Charrier
Austin Robert Charrier
Austin Collin Charrier
Austin Phillip Charrier
Austin Nicholas Charrier
Austin Patrick Charrier
Austin Thomas Charrier
Austin Andrew Charrier

Hope this helps. Have a healthy and happy pregnancy and delivery. :thumbsup2

My Austin is Austin Christopher. We picked Christopher because it was both of our brothers' first names. I really like the names together, they seem to flow well when I have to yell at him. :lmao:

I like Austin Dean...

As an aside, a girl I know wanted to name her son "Jack"
(which does go with the last name)
Dad didn't like it....she then agreed, said he would get to choose middle name...
He chose Daniel.......Surprised he didn't go for the "s" too......:lmao:..........she never saw it coming...

So, some insiders just call him "Whiskey" as a joke..........................too cute....

I did not read through all, but this is the name we had picked out for Ds but changed it so he would be a II.
We had Austin Court
Yes it is different but I loved it. husband decided he wanted ds to have his name and that was the only reason we did not use it.
Good Luck or choosing the perfect name!
And congrats!

I like the idea of using your DH's name as other's suggested. We have middle names for our children that are all relatives - both DDs have their grandmother's first name as their middle name and DS' middle name is Shane, which is my DH's first name.

My step-sons middle name is Ryder. I guess it could be cuz' my husband is into cars. Maybe you could get creative about the name and think in the line of interests. I know of a couple with the names of Anthony and Lori, and they named their daughter Antori. You could get creative with family names and give him something unique.:confused3 Congrats on your precious baby boy!

Austin Cameron and your other son will be thrilled with the tradition of sharing middle names I'd hope.
