We are renting a car for our September trip and I have been trying to find some good maps of the roads in the world, and I can't seem to find any. Anyone know of any good places to find these?:confused3

For those who have never driven on WDW, it can be confusing to first-timers, at best.

For the GPS generation, you could download POI's (Points of Interest) from the Mousesavers website and load them into your GPS.

Try this one and see if its what you are looking for.

That's the best one - except for the size. It's really small!

You should be issued a property road map when you check in. It will be on the back of the resort map that will be used to show you where your room is.

Generally, I find the signs to be the easiest way to get around. The GPS tends to take you to back roads - which I don't personally care for. And the roads are SO poorly marked in terms of street names that using a map is tough.

Just my $.02! :)

I find that the best mapping is currently available on most of the online mapping sites. I like Bing.com for the aerial and Bird's Eye views that go along with the road maps, giving you an easy-to-understand look at all of WDW property, including some terrific looks inside all of the parks and backstage areas.

I have a collection of Bing maps with various WDW features hilighted. If you spend some time panning around them, you'll get more familiar with the place before you go, and you can print out portions that you might need to take with you.

Key word should be issued. When I was playing with the page, I could change the size of it.Worst case scenario, you can always have it blown up somewhere like a copy shop.

We just use the one they give you when you check in. If you do not get one or are not staying on site ask at any customer service center.

Thanks truck1 this is exactly what I was looking for!:thumbsup2 I will check out Bing.com as well. I am a bit obsessive about knowing where I am going so I want to start looking at the maps now! Thanks to all who responded, much appreciated!:cheer2:

I totally agree. The first time we went to WDW we tried following a map and it was a joke! We have since learned that it is just easier to follow the Disney signs.

The map that was previously posted is old. The is no Victory Way road and no Pop Century. POR is listed as Dixie Landings.

This map I believe is the best. It shows where the traffic lights are located too.
