Good Hotel to stay at in Port Canaveral

Hello all, I was wondering what is the best hotel to stay at the night before at Port Canaveral and be able to watch either the Magic or the Wonder come into Port from you hotel room? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

The new Ron Jon Resort is the only resort within walking distance of the ship channel.

We have reservations for two rooms at the Radisson for this Friday before our cruise. I had read about Ron Jons on here and never thought of trying a condo so called this afternoon. We are members of RCI so you get a 10% discount at Ron Jons on your room. We ended up with a two bedroom unit, in a 2 month old complex on the water, with a lazy river, 248 ' slide, all cooking facilities for LESS than the two rooms at the Radisson.
I cancelled the Radisson ressies and are looking forward to trying out this new resort.

Thanks for your site Dave. Wouldn't have thought of calling today without it.

I am waiting on a quote thanks to this board. We are paying $119 each for 3 rooms at the Radisson July 2. I asked for pricing for a 3BR or a 2BR deluxe--supposedly will only hold 11, but my DS is very small and can sleep with us. If the price is better I'll switch it out. Only problem might be that pesky holiday weekend!
