OK< I have my hotel all set for Disney in LA now I decided to fly to SF for 4 days but I am stumped on a hotel. I want something that is good proximity to all attractions and clean, I am not worried so mu about the money, I think it will still be cheaper then the Californian Grand hotel. Thanks for your help in advance

The W is awsome, but if you like more traditional then The Palace. They are both near the Metreon and just a few blocks from the trolley stop. SF is very small area-wise, so it is not hard to get around from any location. Personlly, I would avoid Fisherman's Wharf area for accomodations.

Tuscan Inn is a great location and moderately priced. The Clift has some good prices offered at times for a luxury hotel; it's a very cool spot. I also LOVE The Inn at the Opera. The prices can be very good and the location is different(Civic Center) but easily accessed. The rooms are small, the beds are great and the place has oodles of charm and romance. www.innattheopera.com

Hyatt. Nice confortable rooms, good view of the Embarcadero/wharf area, Hyatt service. No complaints with three stays there.
