Good deals for DEC?

Hi Everyone,

My wife and I are (at the last minute) looking for any type of deals for early December this year (2006). Does anyone know of a good package or discount to travel to WDW before Jan 1st? We have never been during Christmas and would love to spoil the kiddos with a surprise trip. Thanks for any info!!

AP Discounts are the only thing still available for December.

Most of the December discounts are gone by now.
The AP rate may be the only one available.
Have you tried calling CRO to see whats available. Someone may cancel.

There was a code for parts of December but I think you had to have booked by now. I would call and see what they might have. It is getting very close to Dec so you might not have too many options left.

You may still be able to find some good discounts at the Swan/Dolphin. Don't count them out because they're "not Disney". These are good hotels (esp the Swan) with a great location. You get access to Disney transportation and EMH, but you can't charge things to your room card or have packages delivered to your room.

You might want to book asap... some nights there is no availablity ANYWHERE as I found out while trying to add a night to our trip (Dec. 8th). Not even expedia, etc. so I wouldn't worry too long about a discount.

I don't know if you are in an area served by Southwest Airlines, but a few weeks ago I noticed some terriffic deals on their website. They do vacation packages as well as just straight air travel. I priced a 5 night trip from Chicago December 14-19 at CBR including 5-day hoppers AND airfare for 4 people....$2211.74! WDW website was $2646 for the same trip. I just started a new job and have NO vacation time, but BOY was that tempting!!!
