I've only been able to dream of a WDW vacation because of the price. Was planning and saving for 2002 until I came across this package deal. There will be 5 of us going: me, DH and 3 kids. Here's what we get:

RT airfare from NH to Orlando
Intermediate size car rental
8 nights at HIFS
4 Day park hopper plus passes
Trip cancellation insurance

Price for all 5 Of us
$3236.00

I think this is a good price. Everything else I've found is well over $4000. What do you dis experts think? Thanks for your help in advance! By the way, this is for Sept 22 to 30

Looks pretty good with the way airline prices have rose lately. Don't be too concerned whether or not you can save a few bucks. The first time you go, a package is best. They take care of all the details and you decide what items you like enough to do again. We did a package the first time so we wouldn't miss out on anything. Now that we are comfortable, we generally plan our own trip....but not the first time. Have a great time!

I think you could do even better... We also fly out of Manchester, NH... I'd price Southwest at IFlySwa.com...
The other thing, Disney has some Awesome prices for onsite hotels in September.. Have you tried using any of the codes? An AKL Savannah view at 169 & I'm sure I saw the moderates priced at 99 a night also... with the codes of course.... So if you figure for 5 at a moderate... it would be....

I did price out a Car/Air Vacation at www.swaVacations.com & for September 22nd for 8 nights, they have a price of 1187.00 - for all five seats & rental car... that's not that bad... air prices right now are pretty high to start with... so

SWA air & car 1187.00
4 day PH's = 800 Would you consider AP's for 500 more? You would get park admission for a year....
8 nights @ moderate = 880

For a grand total of 2867.... For 500 more you could get AP's & go 11 months from now & not have the pass cost... I'd start calling around on your own to see what you can do!!! Good luck!

Dont forget all the other stuff like the $49 all star rate as well..

You do save so much money, doing things ala carte, non package...

I would have to agree with CindyB, if you price things on your own you might get a much better deal. Try www.cheaptickets.com for your airline tickets, www.ticketmania.com for discount tickets, and www.mousesavers.com for codes for the discounts on the hotels (such as AS $49 per night, can't beat that with a stick!) You can check all these out if you are inclined to do your homework! Also, don't forget to check the off-site hotels, many have children stay and EAT free, it could be a huge savings for you. I hope you enjoy your first trip, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time!
