Just booked a Disney Club Package, 2nd week of December, 6 nights All Star Music plus ultimate park hoppers for 2 adults and 4 year old. Total $1,251.49 Can't decide if this is a good deal or night. Tell me what you think.

I'm wondering if you would have saved by booking "room only", then buying park hoppers elsewhere.

IMHO, those ultimate park hoppers are an ultimate waste of money.

Seems a little high to me especially since you are going during value season.
We are going a day after you and got 6 nites for less than $600 using the CKO code that came out in July. (This was booked through the Disney Club as well). This price was for a moderate resort (CBR) and got bumped to a deluxe for slightly more.
We purchased our tickets (5 day hoppers) from Ticketmania for around $600 (this was for myself and 2 teen daugters so the price was for Adult hoppers).
Why not call DC again and see if you can use the code..(maybe/maybe not).
Also check the prices without the UHP...I too think that they are not the best ticket option as you essentially need to be in the parks from the moment of check in to the moment of check out to realize the benefit from the price that you have paid.
Now.....this is strictly my opinion....I'm sure that you will get other..more positive posts than mine.
Regardless....you will have an awesome time!!!!!

Sorry...in re-reading your post and my reply...I thought you were leaving on December 6.....alas....we too are going to be there the second week of December.
Forgot to add....the more time you spend on these boards....the more posts you are likely to read...that WDW is almost always less expensive if you avoid a package and price items seperately.....okay...I'm done!!
Have a great time!!!

I think you should call and get a price for room only. I am going to the ASsp during Regulas season and I am paying $83.per night with tax. There is no discount offered then. It is a holiday weekend. I would go to mousesavers and see if there are any codes that would work for your time fram I think there is and I would purchase park tickets when you check in. UMP are really not worth the $$$. You most likely won't be spend alot of time at a water park Dec . The only package that seem to be good is the Fall Fantasy because it includes a few meals. I think there is a list of codes at the top of the home page for this site also.

There is a mousesavers code that is $55/night during your dates. That would total $330 for your room not including tax. Tickets - depending on what you get, would run you $297.86 each for adult Ultimate PHPs and $265 for a child - including tax. So, priced separately, you're looking at around $1224 including 10% tax for hotel (guestimating).

Now if you get Disney Club discounts at the current rate for 6 day park hopper plus passes instead, your total for tickets would be $278.81 per adult and $235.34 for a child coming to $792.96. Plus $363 for room = $1156. And if you went with 5-day passes, it would be cheaper still - depends on your arrival and departure times which tickets you'd want to buy. Of course this price would go up with the increase as of Sunday, so you'd have to take that into account unless you could book it right away.

Either way it seems you could save a little money if you booked it all separately and used one of the CK_ codes.

Couldn't figure it out myself, but I knew I would get some help here. I have since booked room only at POR for $566.00 including tax and will by passes separately.
Thanks again

This may give you a better breakdown.

Here is the price break down of what you have now.

$559 room

6 day park hopper plus $278.78 x 2 Adults $222.60 Child

Add that up $1339.16 and as of tommorw the ticket prices are going up. Run to the Disney Store today and buy them. Also you will no longer be able to buy the Tickets at WDW and get a Disney Club discount.

So you are spending $100 more for a better resort. You are going for 6 nights 7 days so 1 day you will not be able to vist the parks.

If you go with the 7 day hopper it would cost $1422. So now you have a better idea of how it breaks down.

Dont forget go to the Disney Store TODAY!!! :)
