Once you get to the Orbitz page on ebates, you will see that they are currently offering 5.25% back on "Activity reservations". Click the "Shop Now" link and then make your purchase at Orbitz. Ebates will track your shopping and it should credit your account automatically. Sometimes it doesn't and you will have to create a trouble ticket. So, don't delete your confirmation email from Orbitz. You will need it to fill out any trouble tickets. It should credit within 40 days of you picking up your tickets.

Hi everyone. This sounds like a great deal. We will be at Bonnet Creek for 2 weeks starting 7/9 so I really need to hurry up and buy my tickets.

I was planning on purchasing my tickets through AAA until I saw this offer. The offer of paying for 3 and getting 5 days sounds great and to get 2 waterpark days in addition.

While I was waiting for info, I went ahead and ordered. Once I ordered I realized that I am getting 5 theme park days - not 2 free waterpark days unless I purchased the waterpark option which I didn't since Bonnet Creek has so many pools.

The price that you pay for the 3 days get 2 free is still a bargain, but you're really not getting 2 days free. For 3 adults & 1 child ticket which came out to $1101.95, I'm saving $81.00 compared to the AAA 5-day price of 1182.48.

And if I get the 5% ebate, it was definitely worth it and I glad I read it on this site.

According to what was posted on this thread, after the February sale, the orbitz deal came up as a daily double on 3/14, 4/22, 5/21. I need one more ticket for my August trip, so I'm hoping it will come up again in the next couple of days, if the pattern holds!

I just signed up for ebates so I can take advantage if it does comes up, and looking through the site, I'm bummed because I just placed orders from Nordstrom, Amazon, Macy's, eBags, and could have saved a bunch. I usually go through my credit union portal to get credit card points or through Upromise, but this looks like a better return. Also, no deal from Amazon through those sites, and I order from Amazon ALOT. Thanks for all the info!

There's no way of knowing how much Orbitz will be charging for their tickets in September or how much ebates will be rebating at that time.

I jumped on the opportunity to buy before the ticket price increase earlier this month. The amount that I saved over the new gate price was well worth the investment ($318.22 for each 5-day hopper vs. $370.62 current gate price). Then the credit card that I used gives 2X points for travel and Orbitz purchases count as travel (cash value = $6.36 per ticket, the credit card allows you to convert points to cash back, gift cards, statement credits, etc). The ebates rebate is just icing on the cake. I'm not happy about having to wait for my rebate until after I pick them up in September and then having to wait until some time in January to get my "Big Fat Check" but it is what it is.

I finally just got my cash back pending after quite the battle with eBates. My check will be paid out in August. At your 40 day mark, email eBates with your orbitz confirmation and ticket number. They will look into it. You need to keep after them though... It seems as if unless you fight for it, it may not appear. Thanks to everyone who was interested in my craziness!

Orbitz must have gone through a bunch yesterday, because I finally got my rebate from them too. Hooray!

Can anyone explain why some people seem to get their cash back right away (within a couple of days of purchase) and other's have to wait what seems like forever?

I seem to have problems with Ebates giving me the cash back. I joined last year and had no problems. But then my virus protection added a no-tracking add on and I just didn't pay attention. That was my fault. So I made another purchase using a computer without the no tracking add-on. That worked fine so I figured I would just use the same computer when making purchases through Ebates.

My next purchase through Ebates with Sears never showed up. Waited 35 days till I emailed them. In the meantime, I bought 1 Disney ticket through Ebates and Orbitz. I wanted to see what would happen. Again, no cash back showing as pending. Everyone raves about Ebates but I'm kinda discouraged. I made sure I didn't do anything else but make my purchase...no other tabs open or anything.

Anyone have any tips? I really don't want to have email them again. It just doesn't seem right that some get their cash back right away and others have to wait.

I would like to know the same thing. I just joined ebates.com this week. I made a purchase at payless and it showed up as pending the following day, but I made a purchase of $1101.95 at Orbitz for Disney tickets and I'm still waiting.
Nothing is showing.

Yes, as I said earlier, my Ebates $ thru Orbitz posted within 2 days of purchase. I have not even picked up my tickets yet.
