Good CS in Boardwalk area?

We're planning to take a mid-break from MGM and visit the Boardwalk area. I don't know anything about the restaurants over there, other than Beaches and Cream. What CS options are there for us if we get hungry? I'd love some good recommendations!

It was a TS when we were there 2 weeks ago. I love Beaches and Cream, but it's definitely not the best use of a TS credit.

There are some great sandwiches and salads available from Boardwalk Bakery which is CS.

There isn't a lot of CS in the BW area - BW bakery. Hurricane Hannas and the Luna Park pool bars both have a little food. During the evening there are sometimes vendors on the BW, but I don't recall them being open much during the day.

I was looking at the menus, and saw that the Dolphin Fountain has lots of sandwiches, but I don't have any idea how busy they get.

I agree that there isn't much CS around the BW. You could also try the Beach Club Marketplace for a quick sandwich and some gelato. It's not really a restaurant, but there are a few tables inside and a few outside as well.

Our favorite - the Boardwalk pizza window. Whole pies or slices, salads, beer and wine. It's take out only but sitting along Crescent Lake is my "I'm here" moment. There's also a hot dog place right there with fries and other things. The hot dogs are true foot longs and are a great bargain.

We've eaten at the Dolphin Fountain several times. We've never had to wait for a seat - sometimes we were a party of 6, sometimes a party of 3 and sometimes a party of two.

The Fountain is similar in many respects to Beaches and Cream, and we like the food - it's basically a burger/sandwich place and they have good ice cream/shakes, etc.

None of the restuarants in the Swan or Dolphin are included in the Dining Plan, though if that is a criteria.

Best wishes -

You can do Beaches & Cream as counter service, where you order at the counter, get your food & go. Or you can do it as table service, where you come in, are seated by the host(ess), and have a server who takes your order & brings the food to you.

There is a separate door if you are just ordering food to go.

Cheers!

Thanks, Carol. And no-we're not on the plan, so this may work for us!
