I remember reading somewhere on this board a recommendation for a good clip-on fan to use on a stroller. Can anyone help me out?! Thanks! :goodvibes

We love the O2 Cool fans from CVS, they cool very well, we used them last August for youngest dd in Disney and with 2 on the stroller it was like air conditioning in there. THey are styrofoam so if they grab them they just stop and start again when they let go! We bought the Mickey one in the park because I thought it was so cute but it doesn't blow half the air the O2 does. Very cheap at CVS 5.99 usually with at least 25% off, should be going 50% soon with end of the season sales.

I just got the one from one step ahead. I'm not sure if I like it. It doesn't put out that much of a breeze but it is safe for little fingers. I think I may still shop around. I am obsessed with stroller accessories for our trip. I have also gotten a stroller umbrella, stroller rain cover, stroller bags, and oh yeah, a new stroller!

Can you post a pic of what this looks like?

THey are not turned on in this photo but you get a idea of what the foam blades look like. :)

THe Campmor is the same as the O2 fan - as an FYI. It worked great with DS (age 1) on our recent trip. However, DNiece (age 2) has sholder length hair, and got it caught in the fan. We needed to get a CM to help cut her free. It was a bit upsetting to her - so I would reconsider this fan for kids with longer hair.

We bought the one from one step ahead and we use it when DS is napping in his stroller, otherwise he just wants to play with it and turn it on and off. When the stroller is reclined for sleeping, it does seem to help compared to when it is not on. While he is awake we just keep it in the basket.

I just went out and bought the fan from CVS. It was only $4.99 so good deal there. I tried it and have to say that the one from one step ahead puts out more air. I am also concerned about the hair thing. My DD has very long hair and I can just see us having to deal with that in the middle of the park. I am going to stick with the one step ahead one. I am able to mount it on the back of the stroller, behind my kids head, so hopefully they won'd try to mess with it too much.

Did you get it at CVS recently? I may go tomorrow to look for it.

I just got it today. It was on the aisle with all the summer stuff. There were fans on the aisle too. I decided that I like the one step ahead fan because the blades are protected so hair will not get caught and because it puts out more of a breeze.

I second (or more) the CVS clip ons. We bought about 10 of them and use them for EVERYTHING!!! They're great.
