I just booked with Enterprise. I could not believe how high the rates for cars were for October. I got a email for enterprise with specials. Enterprise 10-13 until 10-18 full size car for 128.23
(That includes all taxes)
I thought this was the best price out there.

Sounds like a very good rate. I hope your experience with Enterprise is better than mine, I just hate them and would never rent from them again. I think, when you book a really low rate with them, they practically strangle you until you accept additional insurance. First they offer it at $14.95 a day, then $12.95, then 9.95. They have been known to have people sign a contract accepting insurances even after the person has said no. READ WHAT YOU ARE SIGNING.

Bring a copy of your insurance card from your glove compartment. They may ask you to PROVE that you already have insurance. If you tell them that your Visa covers the rental, they will tell you that it doesn't cover everything and that you will be TRAPPED AND INPRISONED IN FLORIDA FOR MONTHS while they settle your claim. Basically they try to exasperate you into buying their insurance. In your case, if you take their insurance for $10 more a day, you are still probably making out okay since the other car companies are in the $200 range for a full size.

When I stood my ground the last and final time that I rented from Enterprise, the agent ended up telling me "fine, I will let you have this car, but I am making a note here that you can never rent from Enterprise again unless you bring the original copy of your auto insurance with you and a statement showing that you have at least the value of our car in your bank account!" Sorry buddy, but you don't have to worry that I'll ever try to rent from Enterprise again!!! :duck:

Hopefully I will have a better experience from them! I have used them in the past with no problem but I will bring my insurnace card. Thanks for the heads up!

Very true. Its my experience that Enterprise does try to encourage the purchase of their insurance more than most. Seems with them you need to say no at least three times. Just something to be aware of, and prepared for, when renting from them.

I'm not a fan of Enterprise either, but am wondering what code you used to get those rates. The Enterprise web site shows much higher rates for the dates you gave.

the codes are posted in the top of the thread. I checked online first and then called and got the better rate.
