I just learned of the death of Bob Denver. As anyone should be able to tell, I'm a big Gilligan's Isle fan and am very saddened by this news.

I just saw that too...I used to race in from the bus to watch it every afternoon...I must have seen every episode a million times. At least that's what my dad used to say! Very sad news

May He REST IN PEACE,,very sad ,,and some how I can not believe he was 70,,even though I WAS a kid when I watched the show,,,just doesnt seem like it....

Those of us who are a little older also remember him as Maynard G. Krebs on The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis. He was the beatnik who was allergic to work.
