We will be staying at the Sheraton Safari for one night before our cruise, does anyone have recommendations for a good but reasonably priced dinner (and breakfast for that matter) near the hotel? thanks
next door to the sheraton is a sizzler restaurant. they had a very nice breakfast buffet reasonably priced i think around 4 for adults if i remember correctly. if you get one of the coupon or travel books that are in the area there are coupons for them in there. also across the street is a shoney's and dunkin donuts. we ate at the shoneys which also has a breakfast buffet was alittle pricier then sizzler. also nearby is an olive garden and a joes crab shack. i believe in the crossroads shopping center which is down the street there is a TGI fridays and jungle jims and other restaurants. hope this is helpful
We really like Chevy's at the crossroads shopping center across the street. It is Mexican food and had great fajitas and margaritas for very reasonable prices.
We ate at the Orlando Ale House. It was a very casual, very inexpensive place to eat. More of a bar/restaurant/sports/family oriented place. Very good food and not expensive at all.
Another vote for Chevy's. Perkins is pretty good for breakfast...They were as nice as could be and very accomodating the morning after Hurricane Francis and we were starving as we had been holed up in a hotel with no power the day before.
I agree with ttnf3 The Ale House would be my recommendation for dinner. Good food and very inexpensive for the quality. The Ribs are really good as well as the 20 oz porterhouse steak. Perkins is good for breakfast and if you go during the week before 10am they sometimes have breakfast specials.
