good beer near AKL

anyone know where i can buy some 'good' beer near AKL? i'll have a car and i prefer microbrewery-type local type beer -not your bud, miller etc NO FLAMMING PLEASE = i get enough of that from my bud drinking friends!!!

There is a mircobrewery at the Boardwalk. Here's the menu, beers at the bottom. I think our local "expert" on the boards would be "Bill From PA". He's made the rounds at Epcot and probably knows the best stops. I crack up every time I read his tag line "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy."

I don't know if this will satisfy you or not, but The AK and the AKL have a special beer called Safari Amber whick is brewed just for them. It is done by Budweiser. I have had one or two and really like the taste. They have them listed on the Victoria Falls lounge menu.

If you want bottles for your room..head over to Goodings grocery store across the street from the disney village marketplace. They have a great selection of beers that should make you very happy.

If you just want to drink some, Big River on the Boardwalk has some great beers and some great appetizers and meals to go with them.

Crews Cup at Yacht Club has some different beers, not necessarily micro-brews.

Animal Kingdom itself has Safari Amber..which is made especially for them..and is quite good.

yes- beer for the room(gotta do something while the kids sleep and i gaze over the savannah!).
i was going to go to publix, near akl i've been told, but don't know what they have. i called Empire Liquors (next door to publix) but the guy said they don't have any!

can you tell me where goodings is? is it a regular store eg cereals, milk etc -have to get more than beer too!

In FLA, you buy beer in a supermarket. It's located in the Crossroads mall, just down the street from Downtown Disney. We make the trip every time.

We went to a place called ABC Liquors by the Winn Dixie that had a decent selection.
