I'll be over 6 months pregnant when we go to Disney and I'm trying to find a bag that won't break my back or my bank. I figure I'll be carrying a few diapers, wipes, snacks, a small toy or two and a drink cup. Any suggestions for decent bag that won't make me cry every time I have to carry it (besides my husband - my mom already suggested that one!)?

I used a plain old nylon backpack with the drawstring cords when we went last year when I was 6m pregnant. We didn't carry much stuff in it, and it's really light weight. They average about $10 at most sporting goods stores.

I had a great backpack that was great when it was just my dd when she was 3. I didnt need too much stuff so it wasnt too heavy. Unfortunately it was too heavy when we went in Oct with the 2 kids junk. So what I did was use on the those little holders that hold a couple of diapers, wipes and changing pad. Then I took a small backpack ( a 10 in size) and put the important stuff, like a change of clothes, sunscreen and our camera ( plus the autograph books)inside. I left the diaper holder in the stroller and only brought the tiny backpack on the rides with us.. which was light enough for my dd6 to carry...

we're just back from WDW amd I'm 30 weeks pregnant. We used a booksack. That's sufficient space to hold everything - but more importantly it has straps for both shoulders so you can balance the load. I found even carrying my (overladen) purse through the airport was tiresome, but the booksack was fine.

As someone said in some other thread, the weight in the back balances the weight in the front!

We used a lightweight nylon backpack the last time we were there too. It works great.

Good Luck!

I used a sling type Jansport backpack last time I went and It was great. I had zero pressure on my shoulders/back and it was wonderful. The weight is evenly distributed and I couldn't have asked for a better bag. It was waterproof too!

I just rec'd the Baggallini "Get out of town" Bag from ebags.com. I am planning on taking it for our Sept trip to WDW. I figured it would be big enough for my 2 kids stuff. Change of clothes for them, wipes, sandwich bags, sunscreen, camera, video camera, etc. It's very lightweight. I can't wait to use it!

We carry a Jansport backpack and leave it shoved in the bottom of the stroller. I wear a fanny pack (yep, even hugely pregnant I wear a fanny pack - just push it under the belly LOL) and I carry all the important stuff in the fanny pack (money, cards, camera, phone) and all the diapers, wipes, sippies, snacks, etc.. in the backpack in the stroller so Im really only pulling out the backpack for snacks, sippies, and diaper changes - or when we go to restaurants.
