Good August 2016 flight prices direct

Just looked at Virgin Holidays fly drive prices for August 2016 leaving on 18th for 14 days and am finding adult direct PE at about £1,100 per seat. Great price so thought I'd share it

Maybe it's me but I don't really consider that a good price - yes, it's PE but we are paying just over that for indirect for 3 people this August. Maybe it might help somebody though.

For anyone familiar with flying PE in August on Virgin, which is the only comparison I am making, trust me, that is a good price. Comparing it with none Virgin indirect is like comparing apples and pears. Whether you think it's a good price for you is one thing. Whether based on the stats it is a good comparable price is another and the point of my post.

I obviously misinterpreted your OP, you said it was a good price, I didn't realise you meant it is a good price for Virgin PE. Yes, you're right, it is a good price for Virgin PE since they just quoted me over £6000 for Economy flights direct next August for 3 people

Unfortunately it doesn't get much better than £1100 for PE in August with VA.
For our dates this August I haven't seen economy much under £1000pp, if I booked today they are £1,415(PE £1762), that's why we are going indirect business class for £820, rather do that that pay VA prices.
Don't know what prices will be like next August but going on this year £1,100 is a good price.
