good at home printer?

Recommendations out there? After many years with our Lexmark copy/print/scanner we need a new one.

I guess I would like to spend aroung $150? Is that even reasonable?

The HP Evy 100 series seems very nice. I say "seems" because I have only seen them in action for about 2 months. We bought 4 of them for various folks using iPad/iphones. They are AirPrint compatible which is nice, you can email documents and they print out automatically with HP web print. They print double sided if you want, and copy/scan as well. The quality is very good, and they look nice if you are putting somewhere out in the open. I think they were about 139.00ish last time I looked. I would check those out.

I have an HP OfficeJet J4580. It seams good to me. I haven't printed photos on it but the fax and copying work great.

I was happy when I had to replace the ink cartrage and found out it was one of the lowest priced ones.

I didn't purchase the HP all-in-one, it was a freebie for opening a credit card.

HP was really great about sending out a new CD that came with the printer. The one in the box didn't work and I didn't even open the box for the printer for at least a year, as I was using up the ink on my other printer before using the new one.
