Good and bad news

Good news is we are going to Disney!!!!


Bad news is, it will not be at the fort.

The truck is still not fixed the mechanic who is a friend has gotten really backed up and he is trying to save us money on labor so working on it kinda as his own car. I have been really kinda down all summer, here we bought this great TT and have not been able to use it once. DS and DH are really upset but, im more devastated that I will be spending another trip staying in a room and not in my own space. We are planning on using the h e double hockey sticks out of it next year. We would like to do FL twice but one trip at a beach or something. Probably wont be at the fort until next August.

The good news is we will be releasing an October week withing the next couple of days, IT is October 18-25. I will post on here the second that DH gets on the phone and does it.


So for now I will have to look at everyone's pictures and enjoy it from here.

Hate to hear your not going to be at the Fort. Where will you be staying?

I noticed that Princess Cooper's Mom posted that they were looking to extend their trip and your cancellation may help them. Hate to see someone cancel, but maybe it will work out for everyone.

Yeah I'm definitely not looking forward to it. My dad has a 1997 f250 power stroke diesel but I really don't want anything to happen to it then I would feel terrible it's like his other child. Plus the gas bill makes my stomach sick lol. It would also be the first time we would be towing the camper anywhere and I'm not sure fl is the best idea. If we can not figure something out probably pop or sports.

The good news is you are still going to WDW.

The fort is still there. You'll just have to do what I did last Spring Break. Spring break we stayed in a friends DVC at Saratoga Springs. Took the bus to the fort and spent a day doing all the fort things we would have done. It's not exactly the same, but still fun and get's you a little "fort fix".

Let me make you feel better. My trip to FW in 2012 was only my second trip in new camper and first long haul. All the way from deep dark Mississippi...
