On Tuesday I had AKL for $179 per night (10/8 -10/12). I didn't book, unfortunately today I went to book and the rate is gone.

Am I out of luck??? Think the rate will ever return for those dates???

I would try calling first, and then check the website every day. Someone may cancel and you can snag it. In the mean time, I would book something else that you would be happy with.

Definitely keep trying. I tried for 22 straight days to get the resort/room we wanted for 9/30-10/4 and finally got it last night. The CM said as the time gets closer to the 45 day cancellation mark the chance of getting the room increases because final package payments are due and people whose plans have changes call into cancel their rooms. I had booked another room as a 'just in case' fall back.

You should def. keep trying. I know I looked yesterday at rooms at AKL and WL and there was nothing available the week I want. Now today, both have availabilty.

Do keep checking. I was looking on for a friend and saw the Savannah Room rate was $244 on Thursday. By the time I got in touch with her on Friday, it was gone. I kept checking like crazy and it suddenly reappeared late Saturday night.
