Gone and done it again

Have been watching flights for 4 of us 3 adults 1 child for end of august(18th) next year for a while now and the price has been about £2400 for a while and have been looking for price to drop to about £1800 got home tonight put dates in on expedia came back with £1675 booked straight away we will be flying united the atlantic part will be with BMI who we think are one of the best airlines around then united for ted.As we are flying into MCO we will be using magical express so we will save there as we will not need the car we plan on getting a car in the middle for a week.As we are meeting up with inlaws we will be staying at pop century for 2 weeks so will be banking points from our dvc for the year after now the planing starts

That is so weird Paul I just checked last night for 21st Aug next year...got a good price too, 3ad £1200, but DH said no as the flights were not direct back to the drawing board

Well i think your DH must be mad for not letting you book at that price you will not get direct flights for that time of year for less than £600.we always feel that the first day is all traveling so an extra couple of hours dosent matter that much the money you save is better spent on outher things on the holiday.Also as its huracaine season if you fly direct your flight can be canceled indirect you can still fly to the hub (chicargo for us)and hopefuly the airports have opened or they can fly you to a differnt airport that is open in florida 2 years ago we were due to fly into tampa but charley had shut it as we were checkuing in we opted to fly to chicargo and hope it had opened but when we got there still shut i asked were there any outher airports open and there were seats on the flights to miamiwe took them and there was no problem picking up the car from there instaed of tampa as well
