Golfing at Hilton Head

My husband and a friend played golf on a course at HH several years ago, and we're trying to remember the name.

We're sending my nephew and his bride there on their honeymoon in October, and we'd love to recommend the course.

Can anyone help?

The only thing he remembers is that there were a few holes that were actually right on the ocean. Also - if it helps - this would have been back in 1999, it "wasn't" in HarbourTown, and it "was" on the island.

I know the Robert Trent Jones course at Palmetto Dunes (across the highway from DVC) has at least one ocean hole. Don't know about others.

I agree, the only one that has holes on the ocean is (besides Harbortown) is Robert Trent Jones.
Played that one last year, and I believe it is hole #10 on the ocean.

Another thought---The Ocean Course? It isn't in Harbourtown, but it is in Sea Pines Plantation. Just a couple of holes see the ocean though.
