Can someone please tell me what the DVC golf rates are or where I can find the info.

thanks in advance

Here's what the DVC Member site says. It doesn't give specific prices:

Disney Vacation Club Golf Membership at the Walt Disney World® Resort
Take advantage of the exclusive Disney Vacation Club Golf Membership that offers Members who purchase the plan (Cardholders), and up to three Guests special rates for one 18-hole round of golf per day at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course, Disney's Palm Golf Course, Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, Disney's Osprey Ridge Golf Course or Disney's Eagle Pines Golf Course. The special rates apply for tee times after 10:00 a.m. (regular Walt Disney World golf rates apply prior to 10:00 a.m.).

To participate in this plan, purchase a Disney Vacation Club Golf Membership (valid for one year from date of purchase) at any Walt Disney World Pro Shop for $85 plus tax. Cardholders and up to three guests (only when they are playing with the Cardholder) receive special per-round pricing. Cardholders also receive a 20% discount on golf instruction at the Walt Disney World golf courses. For more information on any of the golf courses at the Walt Disney World Resort, visit Golf at Walt Disney World Resort.

The membership card is $85 for one year and the discounted rate varies by month. I know that in December, it's $50 for all Disney courses.

Marc's Walt Disney World and Golf Site at www.wdwgolf.com

This site has all of the information from Disney in a very easy to use format.

Enjoy the courses. I have played all of them except Eagle Pines. Each has its challenges, but they have all been fun.

Thanks

I'd call the recreation line to get the best answer to that question. If memory serves, the AP discount is a flat 30% off of the standard day rate. The DVC rate seems to vary by month / season.

There are also variances how far in advance you can reserve a tee time and the earliest time of day you can tee off.

Thanks Tjkraz,

I was just looking into that. AP does appear to be 30% before 10am. DVC you need to book after 10am and the $85.00.

I think I will probably wait till we are there and decide which is better. My husband does not like to book ahead because we generally have no idea when he will play. So far we have never had any problems getting a time. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I just booked our tee times for December and the 2 for 1 deal was slightly better then the AP rate.

We are playing OR and Mag for $163. I believe the AP rate was $168. This is for the second week in December.

I didn't look into the DVC pass, since there is only two of us and we are only playing once. We also wanted to play early, so we can still "hit the parks" that day.

When you call to make your tee time, just ask them to give you all the options available.

DH has golfed in May and in June with the card, both times it was $35 after 10:00. I thought I read somewhere that the DVC rates are the same as the Florida resident rates (on Marc's website) once you purchase the card. However, recently, someone here said DVC rates in April were $50 so I don't know. Perhaps a call to MS would get the rates-or perhaps WDW-GOLF.
