Can anyone tell me about the golf discounts available for DVC owners --

Are there blackout dates?

Are there certain times for the discounts?

Just bought the card a couple of months ago. The best discount is for tee-times of 10:00a.m. or later. There are discounts for lessons which I plan on using in a couple of weeks (20%) and maybe a few other things, not sure. No black out dates that I am aware of. The website does explain it fairly well I think.

And it lasts for one year correct??

Yes, it lasts for one year.

You can also get the reduced rate for your entire foursome. Even if they are not DVC members. I bought the membership at Thanksgiving and it paid for itself with one round.

I played Osprey last week and it was beautiful. Make sure you play it.

If you don't mind me asking - how much did it cost and what kind of discount did you get ?

Thanks

I know that for 5/1-mid September, it's $35 after 10:00am, $59 before 10:00am at any course, from LBV (usually least expensive) or Osprey Ridge (most expensive). The card itself costs $50.

Wow that's cheap ! Don't suppose that includes a cart does it ?

What card are you talking about?
Do you have to purchase something special?

My boss picked up the tab and commented how inexpensive it was. I'm not sure, but I think it was $89 which included cart. The rate goes down after the winter season.

In any event, that price for that golf course is a steal.
