Golf transportation questions

My nephew and a friend plan on golfing one afternoon during our trip. I see that you can take a taxi for free from your resort to the golf course. Is it only from your resort, or could it be from a theme park or a different resort?

Also, when they are done they are meeting me at Epcot. Again, will they be able to taxi for free to Epcot, or only to our resort, the All Star Sports?

I'm wondering if we should just plan on paying for taxis to speed things up a bit.

1) The resort Concierge arranges for the taxi and gives you a voucher (one for each way).
2) I usually give the vouchers to guests just prior to the cab picking you up.
3) It is meant to/from THAT resort.
4) On the way back, the taxi driver may or may not deliver you to a park.
. . . you give the voucher to the return driver
. . . they may just accept it and take you to a park instead of your resort
. . . but, that is between you and the driver
. . . of course, a tip for the favor might help
. . . also, what are you doing with your golf clubs?

NOTE: A tip is not required for the golf-taxi.

Thanks Rusty! That is very helpful. The guys will be renting clubs, as they don't want to haul their to/from WDW. Neither of them are very serious golfers. Now if it was my niece we were talking about, she would definitely have her own. She goes to college on a golf scholarship.
