Golf Shops

Hi
My son is looking to buy some golf clubs when we are in WDW next month. Can any of you recommend any good golf shops in the area to look in while we are there?

By far and away the best golf store is Edwin Watts on Turkey Lake Road (near the junction with Sand Lake Road, close to Universal). They've got a room for trying out clubs which includes a simulator to test your swing. We spend hours there each trip. They have several other stores in the area, including an outlet store on I-Drive, but they're nowhere near as good as the Turkey Lake store. There's also a Golfsmith near the Mall at Millenia.

100% agree with Edwin Watts. We are friends with a pro golfer out in orlando and he took my hubby there a couple of weeks back. He picked up an awesome set of taylormade's and is over the moon with them.

My DH is a PGA golf pro and he goes into Edwin Watts when we go

I'm still using Edwin Watts golf tees that we bought about 20 years ago, they refuse to break

I intend on buying some golf clothes this year as the range over here for ladies is terrible and so expensive!

Invariably we will have to make one or two trips to Edwin Watts on the 535. We do so most years but this year the son-in-law and grandson (who now both play) will want to go also. It has all you want even though a bit pricey!

Have to agree. Edwin Watts is where I got my clubs last year.

I didn't realise that Virgin would allow me to bring the clubs back free, so had them mailed. They arrived a week after we got back (although HM Customs wanted a hefty chunk of change).

The guys in the golf shop were great.
