Hello Every one

LBV is a very nice course, but it doesn't host the PGA event. If that's important, you'll need to book the Palm or Magnolia.

The Children's Miracle Classic (the PGA event) takes place in November and, with two courses tied up, that then makes the remaining courses busier than ever. That shouldn't affect your dates, though. Sometimes the courses are closed for maintenance, but in your case, I'm guessing the problem is a timing issue. Tee times are available to book 90 days out (for resort guests, 60 days out for others) and I see that you're 91 days away from the start of your trip, so try again in a few days. Are you trying to book online?

Disney courses are fairly pricey, but various discounts are available. The best bet is probably to go for a twilight rate. They begin at 2pm or 3pm (depending on season) and, as the courses don't close until sometime between 6pm and 8pm (again, seasonal), it's still possible to get in a full round. What I don't like about the Disney courses is that they get very busy and, unless you're a foursome, you'll automatically be placed with another group. That could be a bonus for some, of course.

oh right

when reading about them on the disneyworld.com website it says that the lake buena vista has hosted the PGA

Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course is one of the few courses that have hosted PGA Tour, LPGA Tour and USGA events. The course most notably features elevated bunkered greens that put a premium on accurate approach shots. You can also test your skills and fortitude at the demanding 7th hole with its inviting island green.

I dont really know much about what course is what it was the one DFi wants to go to he is a green keeper at a golf course and gets big discounts all over the world we have emailed them to ask if he could recieve a discount here just waiting fo a reply but even with out discount its his birthday present

Oh yeah its 90 days today but the ticker doesnt change till 8am

Yes, it has in the past, but not for some time. Some of the holes were lengthened a couple of years back amid rumours of a return (they weren't previously long enough for today's big hitters), but that doesn't seem to have come to anything.

Oh right thanks thats interesting I dont have a clue he just said he wanted to to that one Illl just be sunning my self by the pool with my alan carr book lol

The other thing affecting the courses in mid October is over seeding. Each fall a winter grass is reseeded on all of the courses. During this process the courses are shut down for several days for the seed to take hold and after they are reopened, they are usually cart path only for carts due the quantity of water put on the course to help the new grass grow. They usually overseed the courses one at a time and with the Palm and Magnolia in use for the PGA tournament at the beginning of November, those courses will not be over seeded until after the event.
