You cant go wrong with any of the courses. My personal favorite is LBV. I think it is a more laid back course and the easiest of the three. Also you can go upstairs above the pro shop before or after your round and have a bite at Artists Palette. The Mag is the most challenging and the Palm was just given a facelift and when I played there last Oct. I was pleasantly surprised. The only negative thing to me was that the beverage cart service could have been better at the Palm.
Played three of the four earlier this month(passed on Palm) - Magnolia was tough and I donated a bunch of balls to WDW at Mag...I liked LBV cause it was more forgiving( I lost fewer balls) and more open...at least the back 9. Oak trail was a real pleasure to play even though it is not in the same league as the other courses. If I had to choose, I liked LBV the best of the three.
My BF loves golfing at WDW and has done 2 of the 3 major courses, LBV and Magnolia. He will do Magnolia as he says its a very different feel and challenge. Nothing like he gets at home.
I've done LBV now 3 times and thoroughly enjoyed....1 of only 2 rounds breaking 80 ever was done here ( on my honeymoon ) to boot. But as a pp stated it is very well laid out & I believe easier than the others ( what I've heard ).
Also, you get a discount if you are a DVC member, or an AP holder too. ANd free taxi to and from, if staying at a resort. This is something you can't get by going to an off site golf course...
This trip I'm looking to do both Mag., & LBV, and also 1 @ HH, & VB.....Can't wait...Have a great trip...Hit' em straight!
